| Swampfox: | I wondered what might have happened. Bonking is definitely no fun! I'm trying to think what was the worst bonk that I ever experienced, and the Long Championships here in Laramie where you and Graeme ran away from me at the end is what comes to mind.
Do girls ever bonk? You know, I don't believe I've ever heard of that happening. |

Hey--at least you were still running, if slowly. I guess if one is reduced to walking, then it means there was something insufficient about training, pre-race preparations, motivation, or pacing. Speaking of the 2002 Long Champs, it's funny how the three of us could run 20+ km pretty much at the same speed, then have such different speeds over the last kilometer or so, with Graeme taking off like a rocket, me struggling but more or less holding a decent pace, and you--well, you know. |

Really? Don't they bonk with a different part of their brain? |
