You should probably click on "add note" to put something like this on your log. "Add Training" makes you put in the time and/or distance and all that, but "Add note" is just a quick note. If you put a date in the future, it puts the note at the bottom of your log with all your upcoming events. Check out my log to see the upcoming events.
