Word “Pustoshka” caught my eye. In Russian this is literally “empty remote location”, deservedly named this way: it is very remote and rural. Visited it a few times in 1980s. Great terrain for orienteering.
Aborigines did not probably see an American in their lives, maybe only on TV. I wish you lots of luck there. You may need it.
