Tell me about the map problem at Red 9 (which is the start of the long leg for both Red and Blue---Control 135).

I know of two issues: It's mapped white, and yet there is a lot of small deadfall. And, there are a lot of small ditches of similar size to the control feature that aren't mapped.

(I sent you an e-mail earlier, but I thought other people might be interested too.)

I didn't really notice any vegitation issues, but the spurs in relation to each other arer't what they are on the map. If you take a bearing from 8 to 9 you will miss to the lelf. Even after I took small deviation to the right to then run down the spur to attack the control I still missed. Greg Balter told me the same thing after the race as he missed it as well by a good deal, however he managed to spot the bag.

yea, the compass bearing from 8 to 9 was not working, the whole situation around #135 was higher then mapped in relation to #8 on red
