Tooms: They're harder than 24hr jobbies!!

In a 24 you (well, I) get to sleep all night and just run the daylight. Much less demanding than busting a boiler to try and beat the birthday boy duo of Paul "Rogaine" Williams and Ricky "Enduro-boy" Thackray.

Trust me, I'll be exhausted and sore after the 12hr, but will do S.F.A all week other than gentle recovery stuff and a bucket-load, make that a dump-truck load, of eating!

Eliot: I backed up a week after NSW 24hr Champs for Forster Half. I made sure to do a few light training sessions in the week leading up to the half. I had no problems until i got of the bike, the run was painful. A lot of muscle soreness. Although this was all part of my build up to Ironman WA that year.
