There are lots of different routes to get to the top, some are a lot more difficult than others (and I assume less touristy). I haven't done it myself, but I have heard of people taking different routes.

You should also try to get some maps (like of the V and A waterfront and of the Grabouw state forest) so that you can go and run there sometime.

Yeah we wanted to go down one of the harder routes, but one person in our group had to get back to meet up with someone so we couldn't because we didnt know how long it would take.

And Yeah I will talk to the club. I couldnt go to the sprint that they had today but I will be going next week.
