| barb: | Thanks, Peggy! It was a pretty great birthday - all packed with events and people. Even the hospital trip was kind of a fun outing. In a rogaine/childbirth kind of way: we were up in the middle of the night, and now that I'm no longer experiencing the pain I can look back with nostalgia on things like the reflection of the moon in the still river as we drove home along Memorial Drive. We were staying at the neighbors' because our house was full of relatives and roommates, and sneaking out at 3 am on the creaky staircase added to the adventure. Then we got to go orienteering, and had a party, and sang in an opera! |
