Zan (D21 Lang) and Leif (H20 Elite) had very nice runs. But Leif's best European orienteering was probably running the JWOC Relay in Switzerland on Saturday and the O"Ringen on Sunday - how did he do that? Siobhan and Marti did not run Sunday.

Leif left directly after the relay to take a flight to sweden. Siobhan and Marti left the next morning after the relay (1st day of O Ringen).

I was a bit lucky in getting to O-ringen for my start on Sunday. I was going to take a train in the morning to the event center, but I was assisted by the Swedish team, leaving JWOC. About half of the Swedish JWOC team was on my flight from Milan to Copenahgen, so I asked the coach about transportation to the race site. All I had to do was get to the team's hostel in Malmö by 8am the next day and transportation woudl be provided. I got to the hostel with pleanty of time, and then had an interesting and fun ride to the race site. When we arrived, the crouds were parted as our vans pulled into the fields. The swedish team was greeted by video cameras and an atmosphere of excitement. I was just plain lucky in getting to the first day of O-Ringen.

Nonsense! The paparazzi were there for the much-anticipated arrival of the American star. The Swedes were merely hangers-on.

I can confirm that because when I arrived, and I am a Swede, I didn't see anything of what CaptainControl is describing.

Maybe your arrival was too sudden. *ba-dump bump, chhhh* :)
