...make inspiring videos of your training - like Kilian Jornet.
Here's STORM running lightly past the sewage plant in his Salomon gear! Maybe a GoPro headcam shot so we can all imagine the stench firsthand. And he then crests the summit and the helicopter view shows him on the approach to the Loblaws - wow! And then he plunges over the edge and does another daring, light-footed descent to the sewage plant! Then cut over to a few minutes of Stupid Spinning while inspirational running quotes scroll across the bottom of the screen.
There should be a fire-trail behind me too as I ascend, and explosions in the background... :)
And you should be wearing white tights.
Or the lime-green ones I had to wear at RTNX Atikokan? :)
Wow, I totally forgot abut those. Yes, those would work really nicely! Beats Kilian's white tights any time. You do realize, of course, that some gangster may take offence seeing you look so fabulous running down the Loblaws hill like that. They may beat you up and then you have to bring out the body bag that we also used at RTNX Atikokan. But it might be worth it, flames and all.
Um... body bag? I don't think we want that in our film.
I've spotted Michael Berry training on that hill ...got him over the mtns in France; granted he may have been on the sauce at the time.
Good hill away from sewage, Loblaws and long boarders is the climb out of Craigleigh Gardens up onto South Drive in Rosedale. Double tract packed trail so can even be run in rainy conditions.
Great idea - thanks Bender!
