I usually leave maps on my windscreen (silver jazz with roofracks) but didn't tonight because of the rain (which basically stopped as we started.)
I wouldn't have looked for that - so definitely no need to apologize and it definitely wasn't your fault that Perth drivers think light drizzle means you slow down to a grind.
TBH I knew it was going to be tight since mid week when I saw 550 for a 6 start and I had a good think when I was leaving home tonight that I should just do my own thing because it was likely to be tight/late - I tried though.
Generally I am pretty happy if I can make a 630 start near to me. So a 6 start with a 15-20 minute drive is always going to present a logistical challenge :)
I'll send you a copy of next week's map and you can do it whenever you want.
Thanks that would be good - I will try make the normal start time though - would be nice to start meeting a few more of you!
Don't be so hasty, they seem quite nice on the interweb, but Fletch and tRicky are downright odd in person - you may not go along again. Whereas in person you wouldn't know I was an orienteer - but online I'm easily disliked.
Is it feasible to go straight from work to Light Pole? If I went home first I'd never get anything done.
At current - not really, but possibly in a few weeks - ill think about it though.
