Wasn't it mandated by the Geneva Conventions that all ERG's must automatically sever the handle cable after 22 minutes continuous 'erg'ing', to preclude any attempts to use it as a torture device... ie force someone to erg at gunpoint for 22:01 minutes

My ass went to sleep as soon as I glimpsed at your log!

haha - yeah - it's an acquired "skill". Hands blistered, ass...well, the blood flow has returned. I rarely train with an ipod...the erg is my exception!

I've done a bunch of 1-hour sessions on our kayak erg - but podcasts are 100% required.

I enjoyed Bash and 'bents kayak erg. But I found it more comfy and I got to watch road cycling races!

It's paddling season now but our kayak erg is available to friends passing by on their commute. 'Bent has lots of cycling DVDs you haven't seen yet!

It honestly makes us happy when the erg gets more use. It takes up a good chunk of our family room, and the more often it's humming, the more it seems worth having.
