Discussion: Updates on CNYO Rogaine

Please note that because of very low demand for T-shirts amongst those that have registered up to this point, we will not be printing T-shirts and will give a refund to anybody who has already ordered one. Please don't put a T-shirt on any registration requests from here on in. The registrar has also asked me to mention that registration is not complete until you have sent in your registration form (either on paper or electronically), even if you have already made your payment by PayPal. It causes a lot of additional stress at the registration desk if there is a lot of day-of-event data entry going on. Also, since this has been designated as the 2013 US Rogaining Championships, we would appreciate it if you could also notify the registrar in advance if you are an OUSA member and whether your team is elegible for US Champs awards.

"Championship" is 24-hour event only.

No more is required for eligibility than Orienteering USA membership, so Canadians, Latvians, and Martians are eligible, too, provided their Orienteering USA membership is current.

how many people have registered so far ?

I think we're still a few under a hundred people currently registered, as of my last update from the registrar. Quite a few of the entries have arrived very recently, so it is conceivable that we might now be just over a hundred rather than just under. Of those entries, most teams have entered in the 24-hour category, with 5 or 6 teams each in the 6 and 12 hour non-championship events.

It would be nice to actually see that list somewhere online ahead of time.

For the future it also would be nice to use OUSA Online Event registration from which both sides, organizers and participants, can benefit.

Read them off google maps. Just follow the directions on the website and you can see the field.
