also I think the 2nd lap is harder than the first and also windier. you must have really put out much more power on the 2nd lap. I always do and never negative split it. but i think that is because it always gets windy on the 2nd lap.

Thanks dudes. Yeah 2nd lap was strong headwind from miles ~70 - 96 or so before you get back into town. I was hurting from the bumps too. I dont know if I noticed it as much last time when I did the IM but I was in much better shape then. That it a real technical and tough course.

you felt the bumps more because of the disk. They say that is the one drawback of riding a disk in an IM. it tears you up because of the bumps. probably not too bad if it is on a smooth road, but those roads up there are jacked! LOL
