...it's almost here after two years of planning. I need more time to be perfectly prepared! But that never would have happened anyway. Getting soooo excited!

Is anyone else doing WT and UTMB back to back?

Nope, not even any of the people who are doing the shorter UTMB/CCC race. One final "long run"! :) STORM has 2 weeks to recover, which shouldn't be too bad, given that neither event will be high intensity - just long duration.

Bash - I have no doubt that you will be more perfectly prepared than the race organizers!

Except for one minor problem... This weekend, I will *be* a race organizer. You may have heard that it can be a wee bit time consuming. :) Not nearly as much fun as doing WT but easier on the legs for sure.

Fair point. I think I'm better off racing two weeks prior to UTMB than being an RD!

Good on both of you! I can barely focus a week before a 24 hour with team mates let alone a 160km solo mountain run through Europe. EPIC!

Gotta say, it doesn't seem like such a brilliant idea now as I stand here surrounded by two packing piles. I'm sure STORM's WT pile is bigger! We leave for UTMB a few days after WT, and 'Bent is working right till we go. I suspect the training is done.
