I would sleep in tomorrow as well, if I didn't have an appointment early in the day. But I bet I could re-schedule. I might sleep in tomorrow, too! ; )

Post-race analysis is underway by the Events Analysis Team, and one of the more fascinating items to emerge at this early point in time concerns prizes. I had the team take a hard look at Goat prizes, and they are reporting that Wyoming cowboy t-shirts are wildly popular in any size and color (well, admittedly the color selection is pretty much limited to brown and gold) while cans of California olives are quite unpopular in any size. They are not sure if olives from some other state (say, Alabama, or the ever in high demand New Jersey) would have made a difference, or if it might have had something to do with the particular mix of competitors at Daze this year, as the Prize Selection Committee is vigorously asserting.

One thing we've never offered as a prize is ice cold beer and the general feeling among the Prize Selection Committee is that if any finisher did choose the ice cold beer, it would only be very late in the race finish, and therefore it would come down to how many actual finishers we had. But I don't know....I just have a feeling...
