Around the reservoir is a classic ride. Used to enjoy it but has been a long time. Go either way around. Both fine. I hit 55 mph or so going down the hill around the north end going cw. Certainly would not try that these days.

I think I'll be up for that next week, on a cool day, with snacks. I've only gone ccw. I'm a downhill chicken on my Bike Friday; it's not as stable as a bike with full-sized wheels. Sounds like you and Lyn need some tamer trails! Have fun out west; hope you can both run by then.
