Thnx Tico, was aiming to keep it above 10kph & just squeaked it out....tough slogging over some shallow shoals though.

evil... you can give a person nightmares... he's probably just gotten over that! :-)

I still have the odd nightmare over A) 30 minute mistake at (1st) RtNE '99 Elliot Lake B) RtN Mont Saint Marie 40 minute mistake dropped us from 1st to second near end of race (parallel feature) C) RtNE Yukon 6ish hour WTF!!!! ... Wow, just broke out in cold sweat thinking about that... Always mark N on my maps when I cut them up now!!!!!
All over 10 years ago... sad :-(
There may have been some more recent blunders too, but I supress them with beer :-)

Haha, just seeing this now, that wasn't the worst part at XPD Africa, it was the 2-4 hours leading up to that ridge exploring numerous parallel river valleys that really hurt!
