...and were glad we didn't have to form a search party. :)

sounded like more than just you 2, I did hear you two call out but sounded like the crowd joined in a second later wasn't sure if that was presso or not.

Ill take it either way - the finish sprint was worth the cheer (oh and you not having to come searching for me).

Incidentally Juff, ye o lil faith, I have never not finished / mispunched to date. despite always being on the most difficult course haha. You may remind me of that the first time I don't finish/mp.

I have faith in your determination to finish, but 3.5 hours is a pretty epic outing even by your standards. :)

yeah but most the courses I have tackled previously are 8km this was closer to 13 and with my error margin... goal was sub 3 didn't quite get that, I knew realistically I was always going to be very close to course close.

I once picked up 3rd place in M21A with a 3.5hr finishing time. It rained that day too.

You used to get badge credits on special events and at the end of the year if you qualified for a colour, you could pay OA to get that badge. We did away with that this year because no-one cared.

You took so long that day that the headband you lent me dematerialised waiting for you to finish.

I remember my headband well. You can never borrow my Silva one, which I magically found on Saturday morning.

I have a spare Silva one you can have. I'll never wear my new one as it is too tight and I've pretty much given up on wearing them at all anyway.

I'm wondering if it was the headband compressing my head that caused me to forget how to navigate over the weekend. I've not worn it for several weeks now and this was the first time for a while.
