I've been going up there on this weekend for the past five years, and up until this point have never heard a gunshot that wasn't at least a kilometre or two away. Still, I'll likely plan ahead next year and go up in August. Unfortunate though - it's so fantastic playing around up there at this time of year...

This time of year both the dogs and I wear fluorescent colours during deer and turkey hunting season.
