| kupackman: | I thought a few of them seemed approximate, too, but I ended up finding all of them in a rather timely fashion, except for 125, where I went right past my attackpoint because I was fiddling with the controls/stands. I lost 5+ minutes on that one. (And probably 5+ on 118, because I got unlucky with the "white" vegetation.)
Which one(s) were you referring to as being approximate? I wasn't happy with 108. The center of the circle was on the uphill side of the road, but not only was the flag on the downhill side, it was completely at the bottom of the hill, something I didn't want to go down with all of the gear. Thanks for helping me pick up controls! |

| ebone: | Actually, I said the contours were approximate. None of the control placements seemed wrong to me, but the map was sometimes poor enough that it made pinpointing the control especially difficult. Examples: 110 approached from the South, 121, 123, 125 (depending on direction of approach). I see what you mean about control 103 (I don't think you mean 108). The circle appears to be on the cliff foot, perhaps; certainly not the boulder. |
