Bash: I hope you're also over the shock of 'Bent trying to steal that nice jacket of yours. I'll keep a closer eye on him next time.

Nice run! If you're around, you and Hansel should try some of the NavStock races in mid-June. They're serving as the Canadian national orienteering team trials, and it would be cool to see where you stand.

Slice: Yeah, I'd love to do some NavStock but I may have already headed out west for the Extreme. If not I might do a couple of the races but probaly not all. You know what that tapering thing is all about eh?

Tell 'Bent that there are support groups out there for people like him. But the first step of fixing his problem is admitting to it. Maybe he's not quite there yet.... ;)

Bash: The NavStock Saturday races would probably fit into your taper - sprint (about 20 min.) and middle (about 40 min.) Plus there is swimming and a BBQ by the beach afterward. Although if I know you and Hansel, you will take the World 3-Legged String Orienteering Championships (at the BBQ) very seriously.

Bash: Oh, and that question I mentioned this morning that I wasn't sure of the answer to? The answer is you, by about 90 seconds.

'Bent: Damn, I thought I had the perfect item to start a shrine to Slice in the basement! The problem I have seems to be total selective amnesia.

#  Posted 2007-05-14 16:55:29
Slice: Bash, my mind is drawing a blank at that question...

#  Posted 2007-05-14 19:09:06
Bash: Remember when you asked me who that person was in the black pants...?

#  Posted 2007-05-14 21:18:09
Slice: Oh yes, the black pants. We were together a lot throughout the course. You were right about our different strengths and luckily there were some good trails near the end!

'Bent: Ahh, the amnesia's contagious.
