Quite a crowd showed up.

This is the second time that
Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club used
Frick Park, a large and sometimes wild park, with steep hillsides and forests. It's proximity to the densely-populated East End neighbohoods, adjacent to the universities like Carnegie Mellon and others, brought out to the meet many newbies and families. A
Eastern Pennsylvania area member residing in Delaware drove all the way just for the opportunity of doing the Bike-O, and a club jersey from
the Washington DC area was spotted as well. Many racers from
Grass Roots Racing, a local adventure racing community, showed up, making it feel like a post-season social reunion.
