Thanks Rich. An hour of biking?? I don't think I can do that yet. Also this is one where your bars move and you're steering, so I don't think I could read on top of that. But I'll take any advice you have on making biking a comfortable thing. It's just not natural to me, I like to have my feet on the ground ;)

A very important thing with cycling is to make sure that your knee is extended the proper amount at the bottom of the stroke:

You will need to adjust the seat height on the bike. A slight bend is what you should strive for. The site is for road cycles, but the knee extension can be applied to X bikes as well.

It is a good low impact way to burn calories. I did not start out an an hour, trust me. :-)
