Anna: What is that? Is it a group that trains there?

fthfl stwrd rudy: ghisallo/swimbikerun are putting these on. they are calling them races. either 400m swim, then 5k run, or 1500M swim. $12. Must have USAT license. start at 5:30 every other wed. Lakeside pavilion.

Anna: That sounds pretty cool. Maybe I'll do one if my foot gets better/ I get good enough to race 1500m! I've never swam in open water before.

Ricka: Anna, I hope that you mean "competitively". Other I'll hae to talk to your mom about this :).

Rudy, I that thought you could only swim in Creve Coeur Lake if you 'fell' out of a boat or fell while water skiing?

fthfl stwrd rudy: They had to get a special use permit from the parks department - one of the reason it costs $12. Then the USA Triathlon annual license costs 40, so it gets to be an expensive swim unless you are also doing a couple of sanctioned triathlons...they're doing the swims all summer though.
