Sounds like you are having some great weekends out there. Good guy to partner up with in the Rogaine!

Was there a good turnout for the junior camp and were any of the little ones inspired by the guest coach?

Yeah, two great weekends in a row and another one coming up this weekend!

There was no junior camp at the aoa camp nor sage stomp, you might be confusing it with the BC champs where i think there is one.

The aoa camp was geared towards advanced / intermediate people but I believe he gave matt some hints about jwoc australia this year. He was showing us how he puts cameras on his athletes heads to record their race and analyze the video after which was pretty cool cause we got to see footage of how some of the top guys run their races, when and how long they look at their map, etc.

Yeah, trust your compass was a big one that he emphasized for me. Also for the Australian terrain, compass is especially important, as is reading control descriptions carefully and adjusting speed when moving from flatter areas to the complex rocky hillsides

Cool. Is he sticking around for next weekend too?

I see it's snowing in Cgy right now...I think I'm glad I'm not there yet!
