Flying Scotsman: Glad it went well Rog, wish I could I have been there. Cougar 7.5m had over 250 turn up although I didn't recognise many if any from the "O / AR" set. Anyone clear the course?

kupackman: Nobody cleared the course. There were 1350 points. Top 8-hour team scored 1000, the top 6-hour team scored 810.

roschi: it was a bit too big of a map to clear, but it being my first rogaine i wanted to be on the safe side... like i brought 70 gallons of water on the course, and only probably used 20-30... was fun seeing so many familiar faces, and got very good comments on the course...

Kona.Max: Great race, Roger! I had a fantastic time, and a pretty good finish even though we were pretty challenged by some of those CPs on the bike.

roschi: People had lots of problems on the bike... i d have expected bike vs run to get about 1.5 times the points.. it was average like 1.05.. some clearly more on run.. that s simply due to nav, which is much harder to stay on the map.. but hey, that s why we do it, want to get better right!! :)
After 24 hours of recovery i feel human again.. and am already bugging Forest Service people to give me more permits :)

kupackman: Who needs permits? :-)

The guys shooting bullets at the road near #82 certainly didn't have any...

roschi: Hehe, yes, but they were also lacking a brain so we can call that even....
