j-man: I've often worried about doing that... it is important to get comfortable with treadmills and the emergency exit technique--normally jumping to get your feet off the revolving part and onto the rails.

How is she liking the new program? And what is Georgie up to?

simkiss: You'll love to hear how it happend. We were watching "Napoleon Dynamite" on Comedy Central on the treadmills. Our whole family has that entire movie memorized. Emmy tried to do a spin on the treadmill that the character "Summer" does during her Class President skit. But Summer was not on a treadmill like Emmy...and when she was 180 degrees through the spin, the treadmill threw her off and into a wall. Fortunately she was unhurt and was laughing at her own stupidity. It was quite funny and mostly not so embarrassing since nobody other than I witnessed it.

Emmy is doing better. She did incline 1.5 tonight, but isn't really straining yet. I think when we get to 2.5 or 3.0 she'll start to feel it.

Georgie is pretty fit and is too young at age 10 for the health club. I signed Emmy up for a membership tonight, so she will be my workout buddy from here on out.

They are both off to the Jois-e Shore for a few days of fun with thier Mom while I feed the dog and cat and slave away in MLP land.
