Kids are taller and can reach farther with sticks. They have as much fun with them as dogs, I imagine. :-)

With all those detours, it sounds like the course wasn't challenging enough! I hope Max appreciated the cement mixer and other stuff behind the maintenance shed.

Ha, thanks Frank for setting. A plenty fine whitish-yellow. When we got behind that shed there were two geese holding ground so we didn't hang around. He mostly liked "fishing" from that old concrete embankment on one of the ponds. The most challenging part was egging him along after the 1+ hour mark. Promise of a chocolate chip cookie seemed most effective.

Ha! Some geese gave me a dirty look and made me go the long way around a pond. Believe me, those were a dozen extra meters I did not want to have to run at that point..but I could tell they meant business.
