Some updated information for Laramie Daze has been added to the web site.

The Daze 1 course looks to be rather fierce with numerous technical and physical difficulties such as excessive snowmelt, control setter unable to correctly locate control locations, errors in driving directions to meet site, extensive mid-race beaver dam construction activities, pine bark beetle devastation, absence of oxygen in atmosphere, stampeding cattle, and random mountain bikers wondering what in the hell is going on out in the meadows. Even so, with 32 runners (so far) signed up to give battle, we are likely to see at least one or maybe two finishers. Game on!
And as well some photos and map clips of the Daze 1 race area, at:

Could it be an actual Daze 1 control? Only the sage bushes know for sure. Note the greening of the aspen in the background, but not the foreground. Spring moves slowly across the Laramie Range.
