Here is a great video compilation from the Swedish Sprint Championships held in Uppsala, Sweden this past weekend.

Here you can find links with more coverage from the event, including GPS tracking from the HD21 finalists and more.

Cool! Who did the technology for this?

Drones are pretty amazing. I love aerial fims! Seems like they have the potential for hauling LIDAR equipment, too?

There were an amazing number of man hours invested into this weekend, many people in the club were involved and it sounds like the planning started somewhere already in 2009! Which is to say it is tough to say who did the technology, as there were many...

However, I would say that for the Marketing and PR the main driving force was Simon Eklöv, if you remember him from when you were here, Suzanne, and I think he drove a lot of the ideas like coordinating the copter cam flights. He shot a series of preview videos that were published periodically, and he designed the SM 2014 website using Adobe Muse.

The radio controls and live results and the broadcast speaker sound and the GPS were all rented services supplemented by Linné volunteers to help out.
