He went under the knife last night. With it being an open fracture in 3-4 places, they had to get in there. I'm up in Carlisle today, so I might pop in, assuming visitors are allowed. It wasn't a pretty sight, as I was with him on the descent. The images and his screams haunted me for that awful drag along the valley; not a pleasant time.

same, I had trouble getting to sleep last night as a result of the noises he made when it happened. Stomach turning! Hope he makes a decent recovery!

he was being walked off by Nigel Wood and a marshal when I went past, all wrapped up so saw nowt but could tell it wasn't great. Needless to say Nige soon caught me up on the track and burned away.
