JanetT: Would flattening the cup have the same effect? You could take a pair of scissors and cut up the side of the cup so it lies flat on the cap... Of course, you might get the goo on the cap that way... Then at least it doesn't look quite as unusual, just a bit odd (rather than very).

PG: Hey, just so you know, there are more (and different, and of course very scientific) experiments in the works to address fashion concerns for the crowd that is smart but isn't quite sure how to look smart, while at the same time still operating at 100% efficiency. Stay tuned....

PBricker: One of the keys is simplicity. If the headgear takes more than a minute or two to prepare each time, it won't happen. And the other, of course, is that you look relatively normal - at least until someone gets close enough to see you have 20 writhing and wriggling creatures stuck to the top of your head.
