I wish I had known about this race. Sounds cool and it would have been a nice add to the race calendar. That seems like a pretty hot pace for 100k given how much single track. Nicely done.
No kidding! Smokin' fast! Clearly, bike training is for wimps. Sounds like a great day out for all of you.
Awesome. Logie was concerned about that distance being able to maintain interesting terrain throughout. Sounds like it was enjoyable.
BiT - this was part of a race series known as the "Substance Project." Browner discovered it (through Mr. Reeder I believe).
Bash - I saw Crash out there on the 100-miler. She was part of that ridiculous pace group off the start that I referred to - unbelievable!
Dee - I think Logie might have enjoyed this one. They definitely made use of every available piece of singletrack in Mansfield and Dufferin, and the course likely looped back on itself more than once, but the riding is great in there. Good fun.
To be fair, Crash benefited from a 2,740 mile warm-up.
Sounds like a great race to add to next year's calendar! Well done Storm!
