Thanks to ROC and its great team of volunteers for a wonderful weekend of racing! I had a really good time and enjoyed high-quality courses worthy of WRE status that made excellent use of the terrain at Letchworth.

With the unfortunate exception of the printing, this was a superb weekend. I would like to especially point out Ed's results, Giacomo's commentary, and the nice soundtrack... builds up on ours and takes it farther :)

ROC always does a great job with their events and it is always a pleasure running in the wonderful terrain at Letchworth State Park. The weekend was a lot of fun. The fact that the map was only a 2.5 hour drive from Hamilton makes it that much more enjoyable. Thanks to all the volunteers.

Thank you, ROC! Great courses, maps and location(s) - an excellent weekend with superb attention to all the details that no-one ever notice unless they aren't taken care of. This was a great weekend of orienteering!

Best part for me was the 1:7,500 map for the Brown course for the long and middle. Could actually read the map while running. Thank you for doing it.

I agree about the 1:7500. That was about as enjoyable a map reading experience as I have had since about 1992, the last time I could orienteer without glasses or contacts.

I came all the way from Calgary, got out here and couldn't run because of my aching back, and still had a great time. Thanks to the organizers and all the competitors for a great atmosphere.

Thanks to ROC for a great weekend! You guys have become quite adept at hosting events with a great feel to them, and I really like that. I especially liked the long course on Saturday, thought that was very interesting and fun course setting. Thank you!

Thanks to all the ROC members and others who came together to put together such a well-organized and enjoyable event. The courses were each interesting and true to the character of each discipline; I agree with Alex that the long distance was especially fun and well-set. I was touched by the home-baked treats at the finish--what a welcoming amenity! I felt like an honored guest in ROC's home (terrain).

It was everything I expected and more. I love Letchworth (although prefer the W side more). The tent was "just in time" great to have, and the snacks on Friday and the food on Saturday was delicious.

My thanks as well. Also after reading the 1:7500 long course map I determined I wouldn't need glasses to read the map on Sunday - and I didn't but the glasses sure would have come in handy for reading the control descriptions (clue sheets fro some)
Congrats to ROC for pulling it all together. No wonder they named the airport after you guys!!

Ha! I could read the course just fine, but had to use my magnifier to read control numbers on the control descriptions on Sunday!

Great event, really appreciate all the hard work put into it! And, like the others my age, really appreciated the 1:7500 Brown maps.

Thank you, ROC. I ran with 1:10 000, and it was just fine to run and read. Not on Brown course quite yet. Lots of fun.
