Discussion: Early bird registration deadline - Dec 5th

Registration for the 2015 Snowshoe Raid Adventure Run is now open. This year's race once again takes place at Blue Mountain Resort near Collingwood, Ontario. Check out why this race has been voted top Top Snowshoe Race in eastern Canada the last two years by Get Out There Magazine Reacher's Choice.



Early bird fees apply until midnight on December 5th.

Snow squalls in the forecast later this week! The 2015 Snowshoe Raid early bird registration deadline is midnight on Friday December 5th. When the snow is deep this can be a tough race so it is no surprise that so far over half the teams signed up are all-female teams (and most of the rest are coed teams). Check out these awesome team names: Chicks from the sticks, Golden Girls, Tree Huggers, That's not on the map, Can't feel my toes, The Angels, Celtic Ladies, Galt Girlz, Bring back the wild (to name a few).

With only 10% of the teams signed up so far being all-male teams I just want to send out a reminder to all the guys out there that you too are tough enough and can do this race as well. ;-) This video of race director Bob Miller preparing the 2014 SSR proves that (though this video was taken a few weeks after Bob took 3rd place with Team Tecnu at the 2014 World Adventure Racing Champs).
