Come join us for 2 days of A-level competition in North Georgia.
Red Top Mountain State Park is located in the foothills of the southern Appalachians, in an area rich in both Cherokee and Civil War history.

And if you want to travel early or stay later you can extend your trip to the 'suncoast' of Florida for events January 10 at Ft de Soto Park - an island in the Gulf of Mexico - or Jan 24th at Oscar Scherer State Park , as flat as the Appalachians are steep and where almost all contours are negative, near Venice FL. In either case you can be provided with 1) maps for your own midweek training, or 2) a hook up with a school or park where you can be a member of the orienteering version of the Peace Corps making a map in an area that needs one.
