This event will be this Sunday. Mass start for 2 (3 or 4) person relay at about 2. Arrival between 1 and 1:30 would allow time for warm-up, getting your team registered. Relay is two courses, yellow to easy orange level, approximately 1.6 K each, speedy goat style. For a 2 person team, each person runs both courses, alternating. There will be catch-up mass starts as necessary. Picnic and meeting to follow.

Rhonda is looking for a rough headcount. If you are coming, you can indicate on the AP event list or send Rhonda an email rhondadeweese52 at gmail dot com, particularly if you are intending to bring anything for the picnic.

Are there a lot of mosquitoes at Ratlum at the moment? It makes a difference if you are less than three years old.

I don't know. I'll check tomorrow. Personally, I don't much notice mosquitoes, so perhaps I'll ask one of the granddaughters staying here this week. They might provide some companionship for TF if he comes, by the way. They are 5 and 3, soon to be 6 and 4.

Just went for a half hour walk with the dog in the woods and didn't encounter a single mosquito, as near as I can tell. I can give an update later in the week when weather conditions may have changed.

No signs of mosquitoes.

Thanks. Unfortunately the weather forecast probably makes the question of mosquitoes moot for us - toddlers and rain and a long drive from home may be a bridge too far.
