After three days of competition Bernhard Lieber and his team of HSV Villach can draw a more than positive balance: The “orienteering” presented itself among many ball sports all in a positive way. KOLV President Günter Prommer supervised for several days an information stand where you could run a WISBI route around the Wörthersee Station. More than 400 young people from 30 different nations sniffed orienteering - and it can be truly proud.
Some team’s sands top runners such as Spain, Romania and Russia; this under the leadership of IOF board member Alexey Kuzmin. Also in Competition shoolteam of Ehrentalerberg (AUT), EDRON Academy (MEX), Family team “Markham” Octavian Droobers (GBR).
Highlight was the sprint relay as the final event in the Europa Park with a visit to Minimundus - a small trip around the world in miniature - past the blue mosque of Istanbul, at the Eiffel Tower with Post Location Sydney Opera House.6 Nations: Mexico, Romania, Russia,Romania, Spain, Austria with 70 participants were once a hopeful beginning.
