For anyone looking to get their orienteering legs under then before the spring national meets (including the individual champs a mere three weeks later), QOC will be hosting a full weekend of orienteering at Cabin Camp 5 in Prince William Forest Park, site of Day 1 of the 2007 US Classic Champs, including a two day junior training camp, night-O, a training day for all comers and a full slate of classic daytime orienteering courses. The junior training camp will be helmed by Boris Granovskiy and will include a multi-technique exercise designed by Thierry Gueorgiou (also open to participants in the training day).

Further information is posted on the QOC web site.

Online registration is required in advance via Event Register. Modest late fees will kick in as of February 22.

It should be really fun. I hope some juniors from outside the region attend. I am happy to answer any questions.
