Does anyone know of a dog friendly Rogaine in North America. I would love to participate with my pooch.

Raccoongaine was dog-friendly.

Not sure exactly what you require for "dog friendly". We have a 6 hour rogaine coming up in the Water Gap. Dogs are allowed on leash in the Delaware Water Gap NRA which is the area covered by our map. I will have to find out the policy for PEEC (our event center) for certain but I suspect dogs will be allowed on leash, but not be allowed in the cabins or dining hall.

We had several dogs participating at the Crooked Compass this year. I would imagine for most races, it's dependent on the permits (though there are probably some RDs that just have a blanket prohibition).

Your best bet is probably to 1) e-mail the Rogaine director to ask about pet policies, and/or 2) investigate online as to the park's policies. Leashing is always a good idea in any event.

Is the dog one of the team members?

Pity it wasn't Putin that the moggy was eyeing off. But Medvedev is still around, so presumably there was no attack, but then the cat didn't look very hungry. :-)

thanks all. I will contact the RD's I am interested in and see what their thoughts are.

@Hammer, I'll make sure to bring my pup to the Snow-Dogaine this year. :)
