In 1966 the Hamilton Orienteering Association was formed! HOA then became the Hamilton King's Foresters named after our first map - King's Forest Park. In 2000 HKF merged with Niagara Orienteering Club to form Golden Horseshoe Orienteering. Last year we changed our name to DontGetLost Adventure Running to reflect the growth in our Adventure Running Kids program. This year we celebrate 50 years of adventure and orienteering in Ontario's Golden Horseshoe.
In celebration of those 50 years this year's Raid the Hammer will race through the King's Forest and part of the race will use a 'vintage map'. Also, the full raid course (approx 25km) will have a whopping 50 controls!
