Also, tons of fun activities for you this year when we're not training and racing! We have no association with any of these events, we just think they're awesome things to see and do.
Thursday is the Scooper Bowl, which means tons and tons of ice cream to benefit the Jimmy Fund. Excellent lunchtime activity, though good luck running fast that evening after eating your weight in ice cream.

Thursday's events will also be near the northern terminus of the Boston Freedom Trail, for you history buffs who want to do a little exploring. We'll have a good long break between lunch and the next training, so take your time.

Friday at Franklin Park, there's plenty of time during lunch to go visit the zoo, which we really recommend, because the red pandas are super cute.

Saturday we're starting the day in downtown Boston, which has the first 3/4 of the freedom trail, other tourist destinations, and shopping. Or if you're into something more relaxed, Moakley park is right next to Carson Beach.

Finally, Sunday, at the Minuteman National Historical Park, is perfect for the history buffs. Go visit the North Bridge during lunch, or swing by the visitor center to see what else they're showing off.
