1. Registration. The regular deadline is coming up this Wednesday, August 15th. The final deadline (with late fee) is Friday, August 24th.

2. Showers. FYI for campers -- Kathleen Brennan has negotiated a special $2 rate for showers at the Laramie Recreation Center (a regular day pass with full rec center access is $6.50). Kathleen says: "Ask for RMOC discount at front desk. BYO towel and soap."

3. Hats. If you've already registered but you'd like to order one of our hats (see design below), send an email to the Registrar, no later than Monday night (August 13th).

4. Start Times. We expect to have start times posted by Monday, August 27th.

5. Courses. Course details are posted for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 & Day 4.

* Website * Online Registration * List of Runners

p.s. Book lodging ASAP if you plan to attend -- it's a holiday weekend and there's also a UW home football game.

stupid question: do pre-runners still get official ranked finishes?

KFish -- Yes, I think so, but I'll confirm at tonight's planning meeting and I'll report back.

We're trying to figure out how to run so we can also watch the small kids. Can we ask to pre-run or run very early or very late? Thanks

Updates from tonight's RMOF planning committee meeting:

* KFish -- Being a pre-runner does not disqualify you from anything; you're still a fully-eligible competitor. The advantage is that you're running early before it gets hot (7:00 am); the risk is that, if a control is missing or malfunctioning (which it's the purpose of the pre-runner to confirm), then you will lose time reporting that back to the course setter.

* Ioana -- When you register, you can add a note requesting early, late, or split start times. If you want to be a pre-runner, you can add your name to the Volunteer Sign-up Sheet.

I just posted Joe Burkhead's course notes for Day 6 at Superfly Marsh.

The web site is up-to-date with all the info I've received from course setters & other organizers. If there's something you think is missing or unclear, please let me know and I'll add it.
