No medals for Americans. Sharon Crawford 18th, Sergey Velichko 52nd, Nancy Neuburger 77th.

From the B Finals, Jeff Saeger and I managed to advance. Nancy got relegated. So, representing the U.S. in the Long A Final on Friday will be Sharon Crawford, Sergey Velichko, Jeff Saeger, and Vladimir Gusiatnikov.

Correction!! Marie-Josée Parayre also got promoted because two of the finishers in the B Final results ahead of her did not have a valid Forest Qualifier result. So five for the Americans (M-J is entered as USA, not CAN).

With more apologies as I have read the promotion and relegation rules... appears to me that M-J does not get the promotion. DNFing or, in fact, not even starting the Forest Qualifier and then getting promoted appears to be a designed-for feature of the updated WMOC Rules.

So I presume a dash next to someone's name in the middle results means although they got a time, it's an unofficial result given they didn't qualify the previous day but that person can still be promoted? Asking for a friend.

T/D>> is that official? Can I write to Clubnet that Sharon, Jeff, Sergey, and Vlad are in the A-finals?

I'd wait for the A Final startlists. Last year, the first year in which the promotion/relegation scheme was implemented, there was no official indication/confirmation until the Long Final startlists were published. When your result shows up after the Middle Final, there is no bright red line on the screen showing the cutoff.

tRicky yes, to the best of my understanding

Boris, it's official now, consistent with your proposal and my latest guess. Four U.S. runners to the Long A Final.
