Discussion: Revisiting NM Orienteering

Hi All, I found a thread from last year discussing the state of orienteering in New Mexico and was wondering if anything came of that discussion? I haven't been able to find up-to-date information on the NM orienteering website. I am here in Albuquerque for a while and am in search of some local events...even if confined to the broader SW in general.

@scoutsam I know you spear-headed the conversation last time--any developments?

mdryak if you like just grabbing an orienteering map and going - no competition, no control markers I can send you not-field-checked orienteering maps of UNM, Elena Galagos Picnic Area and the area around the gondola base. My e-mail address is with my profile.

gordhun, thanks for the information--I will definitely reach out for those maps. But, I am guessing the restart of the NM club didn't get traction?
