Hey all,
So as you know it's going to be unseasonably warm this coming weekend which means a good opportunity to get out and do some o training. I'm planning to head to blue mountain on Saturday to do the HVO winter series and I'm encouraging others to join! Its always more fun when there are others in the woods. Meet at the main car park at 12pm if you are interested. Bring your own print outs of the maps. Hope to see some of you this weekend.

I know at least two people who are planning to join me in the woods tomorrow. I should have encouraged others to post if they were interested so folks can gage who else is coming. So please post away or not (be like that see if I care)!
Nancy and I are maybes. Given the travel distance, I don't know what our arrival time would look like.
Dave Webber ran the Red course on Wednesday this week and reported that conditions were excellent, No snow or ice. Streams and marshes were pretty full. Enjoy!
Such a great idea! Wish I didn't live 2.5hrs away.
Pavlina and I will be going to run in the AM. most likely done and gone by noon.
I don't see the Huntington maps posted yet, just want to make sure that I'm not looking in the wrong place (if we go down, we're hoping to do one venue Saturday and the other Sunday).
We plan to post Huntington SP maps later today on the HVO website (same folder as the Blue Mountain maps).
Yep, they're there now, thanks.
I did the contour only course today. Thanks Greg A. For making the map and course. A Nice challenge. The Mt bike trails were a little slippery with mud, but I didn't spend much time on trails.
This thread prompted me to look up the forecast which has prompted it. I'm definitely impressed by a forecast overnight low of 60F in New York City in January.
I saw 70 F on my drive down today, and that reportedly also happened in Boston.
70F with close to 100% humidity @ Carolina coast, sickening, I would much prefer crisp dry 40s, way more could me accomplished.
