What sherpes is alluding to in the post above is what happened the last time I orienteered in PIT area. One of the control locations was in a small depression which was, apparently, an old farm dump. A broken bottle under the leaves cut a big slash in my foot. Needed 16 stitches and couldn't walk without crutches for months.

On Sunday, I took that trail, and I was wondering what that red mark was as I was approaching. I was expecting a bottomless pit in the middle of the trail, but I didn't notice anything at all as I passed (through out of bounds, I suppose).
