Up North Orienteers is pleased to announce that early-bird registration for this year's Boulder Dash, a two-day combined time classic NRE in Hollis, NH, is now open on EventReg.

Saturday's event will take place on May 6th at Silver Lake State Park & Hollis Town Forest and Sunday's event will take place at Beaver Brook Association - a mere 3 miles away. Both maps have been expanded and updated for this event.

The cheaper early-bird entry fees are available through March 19th so why not register today?

Any recommendations for camping or accommodation options for 2023 Boulder Dash?

I'm checking on camping options - nothing in the immediate area of the two venues. For hotel accommodations, there's a number of options in the Nashua area, a few just south of there on Rt 3 (exit 1) and a few more just north of town off exits 7 and 8 - all within 15-20 minutes of both Day 1 and 2 parking.

Remember to look at VRBO and Airbnb options.

Fun event in the woods of southern New Hampshire. Thanks to UNO and all your helpers.

I was able to download and post the Day 2 splits to Attackpoint (raw data files posted on the UNO results page) but there's an error in the Day 1 results that I'm not sure how to fix.

AP did not like the rows for Adam J and Thayer R - something to do with how their DNF is in the file - seems to missing their splits. Removing those rows in a text editor seems to have resolved the error. Don't use excel to remove since that throws an error that there are no splits at all for anyone in the file. I did not upload the fixed file...

If you look on WinSplits for M16 and M70, you will see that these two classes have issues as well. I am thinking a reupload after removing those rows should fix that.

Was so much fun! Such great orienteering both days, thanks much UNO + all who made happen!

Day 2 Splits for Red only have 17 controls, but we had 20 on the course... not an emergency, but if someone has the ability to fix, would help for comparing spilts!

Would route gadget be an option for last weekends event?

jjcote:
Nobody in UNO has the wherewithall to set up RouteGadget, but we could provide the files if somebody else could host it.

Day 2 Splits for Red only have 17 controls, but we had 20 on the course... not an emergency, but if someone has the ability to fix, would help for comparing spilts!

We figured out how that happened. We'll investigate to see if we can fix it. The story is that the results computer was unaware of three scattered controls on Red (7, 11, and 16), so it treated those as miscellaneous extra punches.

The Day 2 Red course has been corrected. Updated Day 2 results and splits are up on the BD results page.
This also changed the Final (combined) placings on M45+ and M-Red.
