The Maze Courses + Relay Details

Your $5 donation to team OUSA (Thank you!) gets you unlimited time in the Maze including the relay.
Signing up for the maze does not mean you are obligated to participate in the relay.
There will be a sign-up sheet at the check-in at Morehead State on Friday from 1-4pm and also on Saturday at Carter Caves from 9-11am.
The sign-up sheet is there to put down your relay team configuration and also for those that did not sign up online.

Open Courses:

(Friday and Saturday) The Maze will be open as long as the volunteers are not out on a Flying Pig course.
There are a variety of courses before the relay. We will have results posted for each course.
The only time you cannot go on one of these other courses will be after 4:30pm on Saturday.
The Maze location will be by the Ranger station about 150 Meters NE of the Lodge.
Just look for the building across the street from the lodge. We are hoping to get the maze setup by Friday evening.

Relay: All relay teams will have a chance to be in the final relay.
Qualifying for the relay is required and to do this your team must go through the maze time trials first.
The top 8 teams from the time trial will be in the final. Your team can go through the time trial anytime the Maze is open up until 5:30 on Saturday.
The Maze final will be at 5:45pm. We will try to spread out the teams as much as possible but there will be some overlap.

Please help us run a smooth Maze event by:

1) Get your own teams together before you show up at the Maze (preferably at the Flying Pig check-in.
2) Come up with a team name before signing up.
If you cannot come up with a team before you check-in, someone will be at the maze signing teams up.
It is preferable that you get your teams together before just showing up

Cool! How many people should be on a relay team?

Teams of 3 only. No categories with regards to gender or age. Team members do not have to sign up for the Flying Pig either. Just grab someone off the street. They do have to pay $5 though.

I am thinking of having 12 finalists for the Maze final relay on Saturday. Also to help the organizers, try to have your 3 person team together before you arrive at the Flying Pig. We will have someone there asking you to register your team when you check-in.
Your team has to complete the time trial by 5:15pm on Saturday. You can try to qualify at anytime on Friday or Saturday up until that time.
