More photos from our event photographer, Roland Brennan, of the day one scene at the competition center and the Middle event.

And photos of the sprint:

And photos of the band and the awards ceremony. The guy in the Miami shirt is Glen Schorr, USOF's new Executive Director. Since he's new we'll grant him a little leeway. He'll eventually learn not to wear any Miami gear within 100 miles of Buffalo.

Luckily, that is a Miami, Ohio shirt, so we let him get away with it.
As in Miami University, located in Oxford, OH
...and site of the 2008 US Sprint-O Champs
Even worse, especially for a University at Buffalo fan. Miami and UB are rivals in the Mid-American Conference. But it's shame on us for not giving him a "Buffalo" jersey.
Was anybody taking pictures of the Long/Day 2 finishes?
Yes, and I am not sure if there is an actual action shot of your finish, but there is an excellent one of you soon after wards. They should have them posted soon, and just in case, I'll send an email to the person who I think ended up with the files.

Oh, that's right, UB finally had a Division I football team this year!
Keith, got my days mixed up. Was thinking of the picture that someone showed me on Sunday afternoon, but it is actually from the one from the Sprint.
David will have to let us know if there are any coming from Sunday.
Thank you Ma'am. I love looking through all the action shots of people pushing themselves to the finish.
Hmmm. I don't know of any photos in the pipeline that were shot on Sunday. My son was shooting video and he promises a snazzy MTV style compilation as well as a calmer version. I'll have to check and see how he's coming along.
Come on all...how about a little love for the RedHawks?
I'll admit the faux pas on my part. For the record I salute UB on their great football season. Gill is quite the coach. My RedHawks went in the tank. But we have a new coach and hope springs eternal.
Back to orienteering. Out.
Placed the photos
here as well ... good to have a backup storage for old photos...
I was too close to the screen and misread the title of this thread as "photos of buffalo meat".
